The World Health Organization defines mental wellness as “A state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community.”

Mental wellness is a dynamic process requiring continuous attention and effort. And, no matter how hard we try to keep it in top form, it’s not always that easy. Many factors, including stress, workplace issues, digital overload, and poor work-life balance impact it. That is where Mettle, the first mental wellness app for men, steps in.

Mettle is an inevitable toolkit in every man’s hectic lifestyle, helping them rewire their minds, cope with daily stress, relax, and take control of every aspect of their lives.

When they first contacted us, the client wanted to spread the word about the app and increase brand awareness by creating an intuitive, simple, and memorable one-page website. Bold design. Custom animations. Mettle was looking for experienced UI developers and front-end engineers to help them in the process.

Satisfied with our website development team, they wanted to continue working with our software developers on multiple processes, including creating the internal dashboard, developing and optimizing the Mettle app, bug-fixing, and system maintenance.

Task automation. Accelerated deployment time. Higher efficiency. As their technical partner, we helped Mettle roll out the application on time and secure significant investments. As a result, the client has recently celebrated a new milestone – 10.000 active users.

So, how did we achieve those results?

    Website creation

Our primary goal was to create a functional yet visually appealing website. We provided the client with innovative ideas and solutions and offered tried-and-tested examples and practices. As our ideas proved to be working, we gained the client’s trust and were actively involved in all decision-making processes.

    Infrastructure development

When it came to the system infrastructure, the client’s primary goal was to make a transition from manual to automated operations.

We provided them with fresh infrastructure automation ideas and best practices. The result?
The deployment process has been accelerated. The improvements have been made on the front end as well, including the homepage redesign and code refactoring.

    Internal dashboard

The client wanted to create an internal dashboard to track application data, metrics, and key performance indicators. They were looking for developers with strong experience in SQL bases, and that’s exactly where we helped them.

We were in charge of this part of the project. Our primary task was to create an internal dashboard, and we worked both on the front-end and the back-end part of the application.

    Mobile app development

The client had already developed an iOS application and was working on their Android application. Given that, they were looking for mobile developers who have strong experience in both platforms and the understanding of payment platforms that needed to be integrated. Most importantly, they were seeking tech partners – a flexible team with strong domain knowledge who would easily sync with their team and contribute to the project.

    Creating a test environment

The client didn’t have a test environment and they were testing everything within their live system. We improved the process by creating an application that allows them to test the code in the testing phase. We also created alerts that notified us if the application had more errors.

Throughout the collaboration with us, Toogethr received more than mere technical support. We were their genuine software development partner, providing them with our technical expertise and innovative ideas.

We helped them automate portal configuration for clients and simplify this part by developing a centralized CMS available on a single URL. That means that the time required to configure portals was reduced from a few days to a few hours.

Most importantly, they don’t use external services anymore. They have their own API, meaning they have complete control over the system. That means they can develop and implement new features faster, with significantly less costs, time investments, and greater flexibility.

And the results speak for themselves. The parking app received the User Experience Award 2022.

We are proud to support Mettle's mission to make mental health care simpler and more accessible for all men. Ready to give it a ride? Download it on Android and iOS devices.
