How we helped Eugen Seitz transform its invoicing process with CPQ
Starting with training and continuing with system improvements, our partnership with Eugen Seitz shows how small steps can lead to bigger transformations.

The challenge: Simplifying quote generation in Salesforce
Employee Salesforce training as a collaboration kickoff
Eugen Seitz had been working with Salesforce CRM for some time, but the system was not being utilised to its full potential. They initially requested comprehensive training for their employees to help them gain confidence and efficiency in using Salesforce. This foundation allowed them to better understand their workflows and identify areas for improvement.
The need for more efficient quote generation
Soon after, the client faced a bigger challenge. Namely, their existing quote process relied on Titan, a third-party Salesforce add-on. This tool only handled quote generation and often failed to produce quotes as expected. Its functionality was limited, licensing costs were high, and the workflow required multiple disconnected steps, making what should have been a simple process time-consuming and prone to errors.
Eugen Seiz wanted a solution that would go beyond simple quote generation. They needed quote templates that worked correctly and automated workflows, all within Salesforce.
And, that is exactly where they needed our help, again. We assessed the situation and concluded that a CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tool could address most of their needs. With that in mind, we suggested that they replace Titan with Salesforce CPQ, which would serve as a central, integrated solution and make their quoting process faster and more reliable.
The solution: Implementing CPQ and creating custom templates
The first phase of the project focused on business analysis. We examined how data stored in InforCOM, the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system they used, could be migrated into Salesforce CPQ.
The technical implementation required a broad set of skills. Most of the work involved Salesforce administration, including designing and automating workflows through various types of flows, reducing manual effort and increasing reliability.
We also created custom quote templates using HTML and CSS, ensuring that generated documents were professional, branded, and met the client’s expectations.
A smaller part of the project involved developing an Apex class and performing Apex tests, providing additional flexibility for handling complex logic and ensuring system robustness.
The results: Streamlined quoting and enhanced functionality
With the CPQ implementation, the client can now create and manage quote templates directly within Salesforce, replacing the old Titan-based process. Additional functionalities were also introduced, making quote generation more flexible and efficient.
For example, we set up automated rules based on pricing: when a quote includes a product priced under 500 in a given currency, another specific product is automatically added. If the price is over 500, nothing changes. At the same time, the client can remove the automatically added product if needed, giving them full control over each quote.
These improvements have simplified the quoting workflow, cut down manual work, and reduced the chance of errors. The client now has a more reliable, integrated system that not only generates quotes efficiently but also adapts to business rules, saving time and making day-to-day operations smoother.
